Hello, Families,
This is Mrs. Gold with your Weekend Update. Tuesday is October 1st, so the best thing you can do to be in the know this week is to check out the October Tiger Talk (linked on our website under parent resources or in the email version of this call). Here are a few items of importance for the week ahead:

Our 1st awards assemblies of the year will be on Monday the 30th. We are going back to having 2 sessions due to the difficulty students have with the longer assembly. 3rd- 5th grades will hold their assembly at 8 am. TK-2nd grades will have theirs at 12:10. We expect them to last about 30 minutes or less. If your child is being honored, their teacher will have reached out to you. So, look in backpacks for notes or check email, Bloomz, Dojo, etc. for communication from the teacher.

Wednesday the 2nd is our Fall Picture Day. No need to preorder. You’ll receive an access code and an email. Some paper forms will be available in the office if needed.

On Thursday the 3rd of October, EESD is hosting Shield Your Child, online safety strategies for parents. Food and childcare are provided but you must register. An email was sent to you from our superintendent with all the details. If you’d like to know more call our office for more information.
