Principal's Communication

Good Afternoon,

This is Mrs. Gold with your Weekend Update.  Last week was a busy one with conferences!  Thank you to all who were able to connect with your child’s teacher.  If you still need to do that, it’s never too late.  Call or email so we can arrange something.

I have 6 important reminders for the week ahead:

1. If you didn’t get a chance to do the parent survey, please go to our Tiger Talk and click the link or go straight to it with this link (available in the email version of this call).  We really want your input.

2. You are invited to the monthly PTO meeting on Tuesday at 6 PM in the library.

3. We can’t wait to see you at Family Game Night on Thursday the 16th  from 6-7 in the cafeteria.  We will serve snacks and bottled water and over 50 brand new games set up around the room to play.  Grab a ticket for your family and you might take home one of the games when we draw tickets at about 6:50 PM.

4. Thursday is also the Local Control and Accountability Plan meeting at the district office at 4 PM on the 16th.  This is a chance to give your input on how the district spends its resources.

5. Our basketball games are T at Lassenview and Th at home this week. Games start at 3 PM (boys at 3 on Tuesday and girls at 3 on Thursday).

6. Friday the 17th is our annual jogathon.  This year, it is a Shamrock-a-thon.  All money raised goes directly to the classroom.  If you want to volunteer to cheer students on and mark laps, the schedule is as follows:

Kinder 8:05-8:50

5th 8:50-9:35

4th 9:35-10:20

1st/2nd/Long 10:20-11:05

3rd/Luff 11:05-11:50

All donations are due by Tuesday, the 21st and if it rains, we will run in the gym:)
