Good Afternoon, Families,
This is Mrs. Gold with your Weekly Update.  The week ahead is a BIG one with many activities:
First, Monday is a minimum day.
Second, Tuesday we are having our last awards assembly of the year and all grades will be together.  We will start at 12:35 and be in the gym.  If your child is being honored, his or her teacher will reach out to you.  We hope you can join us in this celebration.
Third, 5th-graders are going to Parsons on Tuesday the 23rd for Parsons Invasion Day.  Be sure to sign your child’s permission slip so they can go.
Fourth, Thursday the 25th is our Open House and Splash event.  Please join us at 5 pm for a free BBQ for the first 200 guests.  Classrooms are open from 6-7 and we can’t wait to show you all the great things your child has done this year.
Fifth, Friday morning from 7:15-8, as you drive through or stop by to drop off your kiddos, we are serving coffee and breakfast sandwiches to thank you for your support of our school.
Last, please come to the PTO-sponsored Free Family Dance Friday the 26th from 6-8.  This is a luau-themed dance so get in the spirit and dress accordingly.  There will be prizes for the best costumes.  To preserve our gym floor, please wear socks or soft-soled shoes.  There will be food and do-dads for purchase, but event attendance is free!
Also, Monday the 29th is Memorial Day, and no school.
